Charles
Bibbs
is
a
prolific
artist
gallery
owner
art
publisher
and
philanthropist.
He
showed
is
artistic
talents
in
elementary
school
while
growing
up
in
Los
Angeles.
In
1985
Bibbs
decided
to
leave
his
business
career
in
order
to
pursue
his
artistic
aspirations.
He
founded
B
Graphics
and
Fine
Arts
to
publish
his
artwork
and
has
grown
the
company
into
a
successful
ethnic
art
publishing
company.
By
combining
African-American
cultural
themes
with
African
and
Native
American
influences
Bibbs
has
created
an
instantly
recognizable
style.
His
work
has
also
been
influenced
by
the
work
of
Charles
White
Ernie
Barnes
and
R.C.
Gorman.
Many
of
Bibbs'
pieces
revolve
around
jazz.
His
interest
in
jazz
is
clearly
demonstrated
by
his
founding
of
the
Inland
Empire
Music
and
Arts
Foundation
which
produces
an
annual
Southern
California
art
and
music
festival
while
providing
support
for
many
art
and
music
educational
programs.
Bibbs
currently
resides
outside
of
Los
Angeles
in
Moreno
Valley
California.
